1 week old

Jared went back to the doctors today. He weighed in at 7.7 which means he has passed his birth weight. The doctor was very pleased with his progress. We go back in a month.

First Doctor's Visit

Jared went to his first doctor's visit today. He weighed in at 7.2 up from 6.14. He also has a slight case of jaundice. However, overall doctor said he is doing well. We go back on Tuesday to check his jaundice level again.

First Visitors

The Challis Family were our first visitors once we got home. They also gave Jared his first Christmas present.

Coming Home

We came home from the hospital on Christmas Eve. What a great Christmas present! Jared enjoyed the car ride home.

Jared Kyle Shirah entered into the world December 22nd at 9:49. A surprise to Mommy and Daddy because he was 2 weeks early. However, they are very happy to have their bundle of joy here!
